Meet Your Coach...

Connie Moore’s life story began with a journey through adversity. Growing up in Pittsburgh as the only girl among three older brothers, her childhood was shaped by resilience. She navigated a family dynamic that included caregiving for a disabled sibling and witnessing the impact of alcoholism among relatives. Amid these challenges, food became a source of comfort. By her early teens, she found herself struggling with her weight, which followed her into adulthood.

Seeking independence and purpose, Connie attended college in Philadelphia and later launched a career that took her to Washington, DC, and eventually Boston. Despite her professional achievements, her physical health remained a source of frustration. By her early fifties, she faced severe digestive issues that no doctor or test could explain. After years of searching for answers, an acquaintance made a suggestion that seemed almost too simple: "Try cutting out animal foods." With nothing to lose, she decided to give it a shot.

What happened next was nothing short of life-changing. Within days, Connie felt relief. Within weeks, her energy returned, and her persistent digestive problems disappeared entirely. Her experience sparked a deep curiosity about the connection between food and health. Books like Omnivore’s Dilemma opened her eyes to the realities of industrial food systems, strengthening her resolve to embrace a plant-based lifestyle.

At first, Connie’s transition to plant-based eating included vegan junk food, leaving her weight largely unchanged. Then, six years ago, she discovered Bright Line Eating, a program that eliminates sugar and flour while focusing on nourishing, whole foods. This approach unlocked a new level of health. Chronic pain from plantar fasciitis vanished, and she shed 45 pounds with ease. Along the way, she developed a love for walking and other forms of movement, which became joyful parts of her daily routine.

The COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point for Connie. As she immersed herself in books, documentaries, and webinars about health, she realized how much a poor diet contributed to preventable illnesses. Inspired to make a difference, she pursued certifications in plant-based nutrition through e-Cornell and completed a six-month program to become a health coach.

Now, Connie is on a mission to help others achieve the vibrant health she once thought was out of reach. She understands the challenges of breaking free from unhealthy habits because she’s lived them. Through her coaching, she aims to guide others toward simple, sustainable changes that can lead to transformative results—whether it’s reducing chronic pain, regaining energy, or achieving a healthy weight.

Connie’s vision is a world where no one suffers needlessly from preventable illnesses. She’s committed to helping people reclaim their health through food, movement, and mindfulness. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, meditating, exploring art, and spending time with her loved ones, embodying the balance she strives to help others achieve.
